BUDA RECLINING

Wat Sri Sunthon (Wat Lipon): is a Buddhist temple located in Thalang, about 14.5 km. north of Phuket Town. As you enter the temple grounds, one of the first things you will see is the 29 meter high Sleeping Buddha sculpture, which is located on top of the central building of the wat. There are also 9 Buddha images in different postures, all facing the entrance, as if welcoming you to this sacred place of worship.

WHITE TEMPLE

It is a completely white Buddhist temple, whose design symbolizes purity. Its main structure is built on a lake, which creates a very striking reflection effect and makes it a particularly photogenic place. Unlike other more crowded temples in Phuket, this one stands out for its quiet and untouristy atmosphere, surrounded by nature. It also has a small museum that houses ancient objects and a historical statue of great cultural value.
