The temple stands in the Na Yung-Nam Som National Forest Reserve, on the border of three provinces: Udon Thani, Loei and Nong Khai.

Origen: Although it was formally built between 2010 y 2013, the idea came about in 1984 from disciples of the famous meditation master Phra Ajarn Fan Ajaro.

Propósito: Its creation was an effort to protect the forests from illegal logging and to restore degraded land, following the vision of the late Rey Rama IX about the conservation of nature.

Financiamiento: It was funded by a single individual donor who gave 320 millones de baht (aprox. 10 millones de dólares).

It is a place of peace designed for meditation, with Thai architecture in the applied Rattanakosin style.
