- Royal Grand Palace: Royal Palace: In 1782, the new King decided to move the capital to the left bank of the Chao Phraya River for strategic reasons and used the canals to the west as defenses for the new city. A palace was built, the grounds of which currently cover an area of 218,000 square meters, surrounded by crenellated walls measuring 19,000 square meters. Similar to the palaces of the ancient capitals of Sukhothai and Ayutthaya, this palace is also designed with Residence Halls and Throne Rooms, as well as administrative buildings and a temple that serves as the Royal Chapel.
- Wat Pho: It is a first-class Royal Temple and is an ancient temple that King Rama I the Great ordered to be built for monks to study the Dharma. It is considered the first university in Thailand. In addition, Wat Pho has a large reclining Buddha image that was built during the reign of King Rama III, made of masonry, mortar, and covered with gold. It is 46 meters long and 15 meters high. On the sole of each foot, there are 108 auspicious images decorated with pearls, which is a characteristic of a great man according to Indian principles.
